Seal Excellence Unveiled: The Oil Seal SA and Modern Sealing Brilliance

Dive into the world of exceptional sealing prowess with the Oil Seal SA. This high-quality sealing solution redefines reliability and efficiency in dynamic applications. Explore its innovative features, diverse applications, robust materials, and precision designs for a sealing experience like no other.

Elevate Sealing with Oil Seal SA

Meet the Oil Seal SA - a sealing solution engineered for excellence. With a reinforcement cap, this seal ensures durability and effective sealing. With its spring-loaded sealing lip, the Oil Seal SA offers reliable sealing capabilities in demanding environments.

Dynamic Sealing Perfected

The Oil Seal SA thrives in dynamic sealing applications, thanks to its modern sealing lip design. Experience high dynamic sealing action that guarantees top-notch performance in even the most challenging conditions.

Precision Meets Durability

Precision meets durability with the Oil Seal SA. Its metal-metal interference fit design ensures a firm and exact fit within the housing, magnifying its sealing prowess. When using the product in combination with housings with increased surface roughness or applications with overpressure, it is recommended to apply seals to the outer diameter. Additionally, a version with an outside diameter coating is available upon request, providing customization options. The Oil Seal SA is designed to withstand rough or incorrect installation, securing reliable sealing even in adverse circumstances. With larger dimensions, it enhances rigidity, further amplifying its sealing capabilities. Maximize its performance by combining it with Axial seal AS-10 and V-Rings to create a comprehensive sealing system.

Applications that Matter

Discover the diverse applications of the Oil Seal SA across various industries. From apparatus engineering to mechanical applications, it's the ultimate guardian of effective sealing and leak prevention in challenging conditions. Elevate performance and longevity in construction machines, agricultural machinery, industrial gearboxes, drive systems, and electric motors with the dependable sealing prowess of the Oil Seal SA.

Tailored Materials for Excellence

The Oil Seal SA offers a spectrum of materials for tailor-made excellence. The standard material combination includes elastomer FKM, silicone, ACM, HNBR, CR, and EPDM for the seal, spring steel according to DIN EN 10270-1 for the spring, and carbon steel according to DIN EN 10139 for the metal case. For an extra layer of durability and corrosion resistance, opt for special materials like stainless steel (1.4301) for the spring and metal case.

Optimal Performance Parameters

The Oil Seal SA thrives within specific parameters. It operates effectively at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C, excels under depressurized conditions, and maintains a maximum pressure of 0.05 MPa. Pair it with mineral oil-based lubricants or synthetic lubricants. If using new synthetic lubricants, ensure compatibility through laboratory or practical trials. The operating temperature should not exceed 80°C for peak performance.

Design That Defines Precision

The Oil Seal SA boasts precision at every turn. Shaft tolerance aligns with ISO h11, featuring a minimum hardness of 45 HRC. Shaft roughness ranges from Ra = 0.2-0.8 μm, Rz = 1-5 μm, and Rmax ≤ 6.3 μm. The shaft's surface finish is free of orientation. For the housing bore, ISO H8 tolerance is recommended, with roughness from Ra = 0.8-3.2 μm.
